How to use Tarot to make confident decisions, now.
deep down, you know exactly what you want.
you just don’t know if it will work out.
The deadline is approaching.
You know you have to make a decision, and soon.
Back and forth, back and forth.
Deep down, you know exactly what you want to choose. You just don’t know if it’ll work out.
If it’s the right way to go.
(If everything will be okay.)
So you vacillate between the option you want and the decidedly safer option.
You justify the safe option by listing all of the practicalities.
All of the reasons it’s a safe bet.
The upsides the safety brings.
All while knowing that you’ll be betraying the part of yourself that craves more out of life.
Let’s ditch that trap for good.
It’s time to say goodbye to the cop-out, the excuses, and the disappointment of letting yourself down.
Here’s the new plan:
Take a step back.
Take a deep breath.
Then take out your tarot deck and ask these questions.
Repeat for however many choices you’re deciding between. (option #1, option #2, etc.)
What are the potentials if I choose _____?
What are the benefits of choosing _____?
What are the potential challenges that could come about if I choose _____?
What is the overall energy of _____ choice?
How can I best overcome the potential challenges of _____?
If I follow the above advice and work my way through challenge as suggested, what are the potentials?
Remember, everything that ever was or could be, already exists in the now.
Therefore, right now, you can tap into the reality of what could be.
This is ALL dependent on your choices and your action.
For example, if you choose Option #1 but don’t follow the path laid out to overcome challenge, instead choosing a different manner of interacting with the challenge, the potentials have changed and the reality is different than the one you were reading.
In most cases you will find it obvious which choice you want to make based on the cards, how you interpret them, and even how you are feeling / what you’re thinking as you do your reading.
Occasionally, when I’ve had too much mental and emotional energy invested in a question, decision, or choice, I find myself still going in circles even after a reading like this. If this is what’s happening for you right now, you’re not alone.
What do you choose when all the options look amazing? What do you choose when they all look difficult?
Ask yourself:
What is my intuition saying?
What am I feeling about each option?
If I knew I could not fail, which option would I choose?
If you’re still feeling uncertain, unsure, and overwhelmed after a direct reading like the example above, take a step back for a while.
Unless the decision has to be made immediately, take some time to relax, rest, and think about anything else.
Sometimes the best answers, the real intuitive pings, flow easier when we stop searching desperately.
If, after all of this, you’re still feeling stuck; if you feel like your emotions/feelings/fears were heavily influencing your reading, ask a friend or find a tarot reader you trust to share unbiased insight into the potentials of your choices.
